OUR MISSION

Founded by student competitors and alumni of the VEX Robotics program, our nonprofit alliance supports schools and robotics teams by providing knowledge-sharing resources, educational videos, and essential funding for our community across VEXU, V5RC, and several other programs. We are dedicated to building a stronger, more inviting community for students one team at a time. Our college members mentor high school teams and promote VEX Robotics as a hands-on way to gain real engineering experience. It’s small enough for every member to make a real impact without the high costs of larger competitions. We also support VEX Robotics teams at the middle school, high school, and college levels by sharing resources, volunteers, and collaboration opportunities.

WHAT IS VEX ROBOTICS?

VEX Robotics is an international STEM program that challenges students to design, build, and program robots to compete in annual engineering based games. It is offered from Middle School through College students. VEX V5 Robotics lets students tackle open ended engineering challenges by designing, building, and programming robots in a competitive, team-based setting. It emphasizes creative problem-solving, iterative design, and collaboration under real constraints. Through this, students gain a practical understanding of how engineers approach complex problems from concept to execution.

A CLOSE-KNIT COMMUNITY

What sets our community apart is our regional proximity to one another. Centered around the two major hubs of Los Angeles and San Diego, we host gatherings, scrimmages, and competitions that foster meaningful connections and accelerate learning. Through this, we’re able to build a cohesive community that not only uplifts students’ robotics knowledge and experience, but also through networking with like-minded individuals.
